The Northern Silica Project is a supplier of silica products for the solar photovoltaic and specialty glass industry. It is located approximately 35 kilometers north of Hope Vale and 14 kilometers west of the Port of Cape Flattery in Far North Queensland. It contains silica sands with a silicon dioxide purity of greater than 99% and a low iron content of less than 120 parts per million (ppm). The Galalar Silica Sand Project is situated near Cape Bedford approximately 20 kilometers from Hope Vale, the Galalar Silica Sand Project.
