Key points

  • Major six-year Vista Cloud agreement with Cinépolis Mexico.

  • Accelerating cloud adoption and operational efficiency highlighted in FY2025 results.

  • Continued expansion within large global exhibitors like Cinépolis and Cineworld.

Vista Group International (ASX: VGL) has secured a significant six-year cloud agreement with Cinépolis Mexico, marking a major expansion of its Vista Cloud Operational Excellence services and underscoring its strong momentum in cloud adoption.

The agreement covers 504 sites and over 4,100 screens across Cinépolis’ extensive Mexican circuit.

This transition will move the circuit to Vista Cloud Operational Excellence, with commercial operations set to begin on 1 January 2027.

The deal follows earlier successful cloud transitions for Cine Yelmo (Cinépolis Spain) in 2024-2025, including a pilot of Operational Excellence.

The agreement with Cinépolis Mexico is comprehensive, encompassing all Vista Cloud capabilities and signifying a full adoption of Vista Group's cloud-based solutions across the Mexican circuit.

Annual Report Highlights Cloud Momentum

Vista Group's financial year 2025 results showcased accelerating Vista Cloud adoption.

The company reported that 35% of cinema clients’ sites had transitioned to cloud-based solutions by 31 December 2025.

During 2025, Vista Group signed 18 Vista Cloud contracts and successfully delivered 1,557 sites to the platform.

The annual report also highlighted strong recurring revenue growth and improved EBITDA margins, indicating efficiency gains from its cloud strategy.

Recent Cineworld UK Deal

Earlier in May, Vista Group also announced another significant cloud agreement with Regal Cineworld Group.

This deal focuses on transitioning 88 Cineworld UK sites, covering over 950 screens, to Vista Cloud’s Digital Enablement capability.

The rollout for Cineworld UK is expected during 2026 and follows the successful transition of 25 Picturehouse Cinemas sites within the same group during 2025.

Cloud Adoption Drives Growth and Efficiency

The new Cinépolis Mexico agreement is a significant win, showcasing Vista Group's ability to secure large-scale cloud contracts with major exhibitors.

This follows strong FY2025 results driven by cloud adoption and margin expansion, with recent deals with Cineworld UK further reinforcing the company's cloud strategy.
