Dalaroo Metals (DAL) has completed a significant Priority 1 soil sampling phase at its Bondoukou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, submitting over 2,000 samples for assay to define future drill targets, while also advancing its critical minerals exploration in Greenland.
Bondoukou Gold Sampling Nears Target Definition
Dalaroo Metals has completed the Priority 1 soil sampling at the Gold Ridge Prospect, part of the Bondoukou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The company collected 2,241 primary soil samples and 120 quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) samples.
This initial phase covered approximately 4.5 km of strike within an interpreted 9.5 km structural corridor. Over 2,000 samples have been submitted to Intertek for gold assays.
Assay results are pending and are expected to define targets for upcoming trenching, auger, and maiden RC drilling. This work builds on historical rock-chip results that have shown grades up to 17.95 g/t Au.
Fieldwork has now transitioned to Priority 2 in the north-western area, with line-cutting and soil sampling underway. A total of approximately 4,400 samples are planned across the ~9km anomalous corridor.
Greenland Licence Expansion Underway
Dalaroo Metals is also actively expanding its footprint in Greenland, having applied for two additional exploration licences, M-516 and M-517, adjacent to its 100 per cent owned Blue Lagoon Critical Minerals Project.
This expansion is set to increase the total landholding by 242.77 km², bringing the combined project area to 259.77 km². The company anticipates the licence grants by end-May 2026.
The expanded area will facilitate more detailed mapping, auger drilling, geophysics, and coring to further evaluate the potentials of rare earth elements (REE), zirconium, and niobium within both intrusive and coastal/lagoonal sediment systems.
These applications follow previous exploration work that identified elevated zirconium (ZrO2) and associated critical mineral signatures in lagoon and nearshore sediments, supporting a sediment-hosted critical minerals model.
Blue Lagoon Offshore Exploration Planned
Further reinforcing its Greenland critical minerals strategy, Dalaroo has applied for additional licence areas that extend the Blue Lagoon project into nearshore and offshore environments.
This move enables planned low-impact offshore exploration, including seabed sediment sampling, to test if heavy-mineral-rich sediments extend beyond the existing lagoon into a potentially district-scale system.
The strategy is based on a geological model which interprets the offshore areas as potential heavy mineral accumulation zones, benefiting from natural hydraulic sorting and reduced energy conditions.
ESG and Personnel Milestones
In Côte d’Ivoire, Dalaroo has completed crucial community consultation and secured formal local government authorisation for its Bondoukou Project, ensuring smooth field operations as exploration advances.
On the personnel front, the company recently appointed Trystan Hughes as the Exploration Manager for Greenland and Western Australia. Mr Hughes brings significant prior experience from Greenland and over a decade of industry expertise.
These advancements are key to de-risking exploration delivery and strengthening Dalaroo’s in-country execution capabilities across its diverse project portfolio.
Exploration Progress and Future Catalysts
Dalaroo Metals is actively advancing its exploration programs in Côte d’Ivoire and Greenland. The key near-term catalysts include receiving and interpreting assay results from the Bondoukou soil sampling, which are expected to define drilling targets, and the anticipated granting of new licences in Greenland, paving the way for further detailed exploration.
