Cauldron Energy (ASX: CXU) has extended uranium mineralisation at the Manyingee South deposit by about 2.5 kilometres beyond the current resource polygon as drilling continues across its wholly owned Yanrey uranium project in Western Australia.

Results from 19 new holes at Manyingee South show mineralisation continuing upstream to the southeast, while infill drilling has also expanded the higher-grade D roll-front zone by about 200 metres north and 300m west.

The deposit hosts an existing inferred mineral resource estimate of 21.2 million tonnes containing 14.9 million pounds of uranium oxide, with the latest drilling designed to test how far mineralisation extends beyond that defined area.

Further results from 21 holes at Manyingee North have continued to trace mineralisation northwards for several kilometres, with drilling there reaching the limit of the current heritage clearance.

The broader Yanrey project contains more than 55Mlb of uranium oxide across the Bennet Well, Manyingee South, and Manyingee North resources, while around 30 identified palaeochannels within Cauldron’s tenure remain untested and provide further targets for the ongoing exploration program.

South Channel Remains Open

At Manyingee South, drilling along the centre of the palaeochannel intersected mineralisation throughout the tested 2.5km strike beyond the current MRE polygon, including well-developed mineralisation in the most southeasterly drilling completed so far.

The main palaeochannel remains open to the south and passive seismic data indicates it continues for at least another 2km to the southeast, giving Cauldron additional ground to test once access and heritage requirements are satisfied.

Infill drilling across a gap in the 2025 program also encountered mineralisation downstream of the D roll-front closure, extending the higher-grade zone both north and west and adding further definition around the existing deposit.

Among the stronger results were intersections of 4.56m grading 346.3 parts per million equivalent uranium oxide and 1.74m at 454.1ppm, while the overall drilling pattern rather than individual holes is being used to define the broader continuation of the mineralised system.

Northern MRE Extension

At Manyingee North, 36 of the 42 holes drilled during 2026 intersected mineralisation above the stated cut-off, extending the known mineralised trend about 2.5km north of the current MRE polygon and a further 550m to the south.

Cauldron has now completed 70 aircore holes for 7,850m across Yanrey during the 2026 campaign and recently undertook a second heritage clearance program covering Manyingee South, Manyingee North and additional targets generated from passive seismic surveying.

“We continue to believe that investing in growing the resource base at Yanrey, as well as further progressing our technical understanding and process flow concepts is important,” chief executive officer Jonathan Fisher said.

“Our strategy remains two-pronged—we will continue to advance and grow the Yanrey project while we continue to advocate strongly that the uranium ban ought be lifted for the benefit and prosperity of WA and its residents.”
